WACHSUS
WEST AFRICAN CULTURE, HISTORY AND SOCIETY FOR UNIVERSITY GROUPS (WACHSUS)
Programme Objective:
The main objective for the West African Culture, History and Society programme is to give students the opportunity to appreciate West African culture and society; to expose students to Ghanaian traditions and learn about her history from past to present; to afford students the opportunity to interact with both older and younger generations of the former Gold Coast and to gain firsthand experience of how things were in the past.
Who can attend:
The WACHSUS is specially designed for university students and educators abroad in the department of African Studies, International Relations, Political Science, etc. It is however; also open to groups and individuals who may be interested to attend worldwide.
Programme Dates:
The WACHSUS is usually a two to three week programme held in summer or by a date proposed by a group.

Accommodation
Participants will be staying at a lovely accommodation in Accra. Rooms will have air-conditioning, shower and Internet. There will be a lively outdoor bar for evening relaxation.
Meals
Meals including vegetarian dishes and water will be served 3 times daily and are inclusive with programme package. Drinks are not covered.
Field trips
Participants will travel in air-conditioned buses throughout their stay. All such buses have been duly registered and insured to operate. Drivers of these buses also have licenses and many years experience in driving.
Staff Support
Linking Cultures have exceptionally competent tour guides/program coordinators as they are called who will be with you throughout your stay.
